At Thomond Community College, we offer football to students across a range of age groups. These include:
- First Year
- Under 15s Boys & Girls
- Under 17s
- Under 19s

Our teams compete in provincial tournaments, such as the North Munster League, while also challenging in national tournaments run by FAI Schools. Our under 19s team pictured below are set to compete in a North Munster quarter final in March.

There is huge talent within Thomond Community College, with several of our players playing League of Ireland academy football outside of school. Our under 15’s team were quarter finalists in this year’s national competition, a great achievement for the players and coaches. Our under 15 girls’ team will kick off their season in the coming weeks, and with great potential, will hope to emulate the success shown by other teams.

The school also have a partnership with Thomond Football Academy (TFA). This program nurtures and develops the potential of young footballers from the Munster region. TFA hosted a hugely successful football tournament on our campus last year. This event catered to players from local primary schools, many of whom will become students at TCC in the near future.
